About the session

For too long, systems have silenced or sidelined women. In her inspiring keynote, broadcaster, founder, and advocate Jo Stanley shares how she uses the microphone to challenge established narratives and create new ones.

Jo also offers a powerful perspective on how economic empowerment drives justice, especially in her role as ambassador for Fitted for Work, a charity that helps women experiencing disadvantage to find and keep meaningful employment. 

About the presenter

Jo Stanley is a well-known Australian broadcaster and media entrepreneur. She rose to fame as co-host of the top-rating Matt & Jo breakfast show on Fox FM and has since appeared on various radio and television programs. In 2020, she founded Broad Radio, Australia’s first radio network created by and for women, as a platform to amplify women’s voices and stories.

Jo is a passionate supporter of gender equity and causes that address mental health, family violence prevention, and women’s leadership.
