The Monash Repair Café is an event for residents to have their valued items assessed and repaired by skilled community volunteers.

The repair café brings together the community to give valued items a new lease on life, instead of throwing them away. Residents can also learn how to repair items themselves, gaining valuable skills to extend the lifetime of their item. 

PLEASE NOTE: NO WALK INS. Repairs must be registered.

Repair Café cannot complete specialised repairs: jewellery, computers, cameras, televisions, sewing machines, some CD and some DVD players that contain class b lasers, woodworks, refurbishing furniture, and manual clocks.

Textiles repairs only. No textile alterations will take place at the Repair Café. For textile alterations please contact a textile alteration service.

Bike repairs do not include part replacements.

Due to time constraints, we may not be able to spend more than 10 minutes on attempting to open item(s).
