Maternal and child health visit 9: 2 years old
All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag!

What happens at my 2-year visit?
At your 2-year visit, your family and MCH nurse will cover:
- A physical, growth and developmental check for your toddler, including the PEDS-R questionnaire.
- Safe sleep and moving from sleeping in a cot to a bed.
- Toilet training.
- Taking care of teeth.
- Kindergarten and how to enrol.
- Food and immunisations.
- How you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if needed.
- Where to find more information. Links below.
- What will be covered in your next and final MCH appointment.
Next visit: 3.5 years old.
Please note there is no video recording or photography at MCH appointments.
