Celebrating local creativity at Kerrie Road, Glen Waverley
Published on 18 November 2025
Local art students and mosaic artist Pip Edwards have joined forces to brighten Kerrie Road in Glen Waverley with pops of colour.
With the support of Monash Council, the parklet at Kerrie Road Reserve now displays 8 artworks and mosaics. The artworks were created by talented students from Kerrie Road Neighbourhood House, and the mosaics were made by community members and designed by local artist Pip Edwards.
If you're a regular in the area, you might already recognise Pip's work. Her mosaic street numbers also adorn the outside of the shops across the road from the parklet.
Community celebration
To celebrate these creative additions, Kerrie Road Neighbourhood House is holding a free community event at 39 Kincumber Drive on Monday 1 December, 4pm-5.30pm.
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon with free afternoon tea and a live musical performance by the Charlotte Glover Duo. Meet the artists and celebrate the creativity that makes the neighbourhood special!
