Victorian Government's Pick My Park: Share your ideas
Published on 27 August 2025
Pick My Park is a Victorian Government program that invites the community to share their ideas for new and improved parks, playgrounds and green spaces in eligible suburbs.
The state government program targets key areas across Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong.
Eligible Monash suburbs
- Ashwood
- Clayton
- Chadstone
- Glen Waverley
- Hughesdale
- Huntingdale
- Mount Waverley
- Mulgrave
- Notting Hill
- Oakleigh
- Oakleigh East
- Oakleigh South
How to get involved
Anyone aged 16 or over can submit an idea to improve a local park by dropping a pin on the Pick My Park map survey.
You can nominate any local park in an eligible Monash suburb. Some reserves we think would benefit from this program include:
- Princes Highway Reserve playspace (Oakleigh South)
- Queens Parade Reserve playspace (Ashwood)
- Westbrook Street Reserve pocket playspace (Chadstone)
- Centre Road West Skyrail pocket playspace (Clayton)
Share your idea
The survey closes midnight 7 September 2025.
Next steps
Council will be invited by the Victorian Government to review all the submissions located on Council land in Monash. Using the priorities outlined in our Playground and Playspace Strategy and Active Recreation Opportunities Strategy, we will put forward applications for the Victorian Government to consider.
Early next year, Victorians will have the chance to vote for their favourite projects, with the most popular receiving funding.
