Council will soon welcome applications for its Community Grants Program, which will be open from Monday 29 January until Friday 1 March 2024.

The program provides more than $2.5 million in grants to support community groups and organisations in delivering projects, activities and events that strengthen, enhance, and benefit the Monash Community.

One of our 2022 grants saw Monash Lions Club deliver the very special Merle Mitchell Memorial Project – Intergenerational Interactions in Monash to Capture Living Histories.

The project focused on fostering community connections through the sharing of stories of residents at Waverley Valley Care.

Thanks to students from Ashwood School and a range of dedicated volunteers, these stories have been captured in an inspiring and heartwarming documentary which can be viewed below.
