The Lightbox Gallery

The Lightbox Gallery is located within the Oakleigh Library foyer and is open and free to the public to visit during library hours.

The gallery consists of 10 purpose-built lightboxes, designed to showcase llustrative, digital and photographic artworks that can be produced on transparencies for exhibition inside the permanently fixed boxes.

Artists and creatives

Artists and creatives of all levels working in digital art, photography, and illustration are encouraged to apply, although we also welcome artists working in other 2D mediums.

Our Creative Industries team will liaise with artists and creatives to discuss their suitability for the space and to explain the technical aspects required for exhibition.
