Bassist, bandleader, composer Leigh Barker returns from Paris to launch his latest album CROSS STREET at The Count’s. A fixture of the Australian and international jazz scene, Baker has performed at venues including the Sydney Opera House, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Festival in Iowa, and collaborated with artists such as Branford Marsalis, Gordon Webster, and Sarah McKenzie. Making his debut at The Count’s, he reunites his Melbourne ensemble for a night of blues, swing, hot jazz, and classic themes.
