We’re upgrading the 6 synthetic grass tennis courts at the Glenburn Tennis Club in Glen Waverley, as part of works aimed at helping improve infrastructure at the club.

What we’ll be doing

The project involves:

  • Complete reconstruction of 6 synthetic grass tennis courts.
  • Installation of new LED lighting to meet competition standards.
  • Replacement of court fencing with new chain mesh fencing.
  • Construction of a new pathway with seating between the upper and lower courts.
  • Installation of tree root barriers along the eastern and southern boundaries to prevent future damage.

Impacts to tennis club, local residents and visitors

During the construction period, the tennis club car park off Mulgrave Street will be closed. The work site will be securely fenced to ensure the safety of the community.
