Sky’s the limit in Oakleigh and Hughesdale

The Victorian Government is proposing significant increases to building heights of up to 16 storeys in Oakleigh and 12 storeys in Hughesdale.  

Monash Mayor, Cr Paul Klisaris urged Monash residents to have their say. 

“These building heights will significantly increase the population in Hughesdale and Oakleigh, but the Victorian Government has not spelt out its plan to deliver things like open space, schools and health services to support this growth. 

“Council will advocate on the community’s behalf, but it is crucial that local residents make their voices heard,” said Cr Klisaris.
