Childhood Immunisations and Council Sessions

Please respect the privacy of our nurses and other families. DO NOT take photos or recordings during our immunisation sessions. 

We provide free childhood immunisations for the following diseases on the National Immunisation Program Schedule:

National Childhood Immunisation Program

2 months (from 6 weeks of age)

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal
  • Rotavirus

At their first Immunisation visit, new parents will be offered the Boostrix (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough) vaccination.

4 Months

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal
  • Rotavirus

6 Months

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)

6 Months up to 5 years (all infants and children)

  • Influenza (flu)

12 Months (must be 12 months old, no earlier)

  • Meningococcal ACWY
  • Measles, mumps and rubella
  • Pneumococcal

18 Months

  • Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox)
  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough)

4 Years

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio

Year 7 (12 and 13 years – School Program)

  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough)

Year 10 (14 to 16 years – School Program)

  • Meningococcal ACWY
