The vision of the Waverley and Nunawading Lutheran Church is to Receive the Gospel, Live the Gospel and Share the Gospel

We are a multicultural, Christian Lutheran church close to The Glen and the Syndal Train Station.

At our Glen Waverley Lutheran church, we believe community is at the heart of everything we do. We’re a warm, welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to learn and connect.

Our regular worship services welcome Christians and those who are exploring Christianity.

Our Cypress Community Club offers a range of activities to welcome our neighbours as members of our local community. These are all held during the normal school year at 25 Cypress Avenue, Glen Waverley, 3150
Every Tuesday from 10.00 – 11.30am we welcome our community to our Coffee and Friends Group for morning tea and coffee and good conversation
On Thursday evenings, from 7.00 – 9.00pm we hold English Conversation classes for those who wish to improve formal and everyday English language skills. Small donations to cover basic costs for teachers and materials are welcome.
On Friday evenings we invite people to join us for social games of Table Tennis, on competition grade tables, from 7.00 – 9.00pm. You are welcome to bring your preferred bat
Our community activities also include community lunches and cross-cultural activities.
We maintain an ongoing relationship with the Monash Chorale, and every year invite our neighbourhood to enjoy their music, and gather for a great supper afterwards
As part of a collective of local Christian churches, we seek to be a church in Glen Waverley and beyond.
