The Waverley Film Society screens the Australian comedy classic The Castle. Starring Michael Caton and Eric Bana.
The Kerrigan home, in an outer Melbourne suburb, is filled with love and pride in their modest lifestyle. But their happiness is threatened when developers attempt the compulsory acquisition of their house to expand the neighbouring airport.
The Castle (1997) is rated M15+.
Waverley Film Society meets at 7:30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (except January). Screening starts 7:40pm
