Parents & Caregivers of Young Children (30 minutes)

Caring for young children comes with many joys—and plenty of questions about their health and wellbeing. This informative 30-minute session is designed to support parents, caregivers, and anyone involved in early childhood care with essential knowledge and practical advice.

During the session, you’ll learn how to:

Recognise the signs and symptoms of common childhood illnesses

Understand when to seek medical attention and when care can be managed at home

Apply basic first aid and preventive health measures

Access local and alternative care services, including paediatric and community health resources

Whether you’re a new parent or an experienced caregiver, this presentation will give you the confidence and tools to respond effectively to your child’s health needs and ensure their wellbeing is always a top priority.

Children are welcome to be present! — we welcome the community however they come, including the little ones!
