Parking Fines

Council issues parking infringement notices to vehicles that break the parking rules in the area. Signs clearly display the parking rules in every area.

The infringement notice will tell you what to do next. If you do not pay the fine within 28 days we may take action, such as an overdue fee being applied. We may take your case to court. If you think the notice is wrong, and you want to challenge it, you can appeal your parking infringement.

Applicants with a parking infringement may apply for a payment plan or arrangement.

You can view photos taken at the time of the offence by using our infringement self-service portal. You will need your infringement number, date of offence and vehicle registration number (the infringements will appear after 24 hours from being issued). Monash Council engages Orikan to manage administrative aspects of parking infringement notices and related matters on our behalf. In providing this service, Orikan may receive personal information necessary to process infringements. Orikan will handle your information in line with the same privacy principles and protection that guide Monash Council. For more information, read Orikan’s Privacy Policy.
