Gardiners Creek Reserve Biodiversity Project - planting day

Next date: Sunday, 10 May 2026 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Mother’s Day planting at Gardiners Creek 🌱

We’ve had some lovely rain, which means perfect conditions to get more plants in the ground at our 1.2‑hectare site at Gardiners Creek Reserve.

Our last event had a great turnout. One of the highlights  was watching a mum and child exploring the creek together and getting excited about nature. Moments like that are what this project is all about.

We’d love to see more of that this Sunday 10 May at 10am.

And yes… it’s Mother’s Day. Mums — bring your kids as part of your present. Kids — bring your mums. Or give Mum a break and send someone else with the kids 😉

We’ll be planting indigenous species, doing some gentle weeding, and enjoying a BBQ afterwards. Register to make sure you get a sausage!
