In July 2026, Council adopted the Public Transparency Policy.
The policy formalises Council’s support for transparency in its decision-making processes and the availability of Council information, to give effect to the transparency principles.
It also provides a process for people to make a complaint when they are dissatisfied with the way the policy has been applied to their request for access to Council information.
