Report Overgrown/Overhanging Vegetation

Under Council's Community Safety and Amenity Local Law, trees, branches or other vegetation that encroaches onto the street from a private property should provide 2.5m height clearance between the ground and the vegetation. At ground level, there should not be any vegetation that spreads onto the footpath.

Please submit your request online or contact Council on 9518 3555.

You will be able to upload a photo of the tree/branch to help us respond to your request.

When reporting the issue, we will ask you for:

  • The location of the tree/branch (Property Search screen)
  • Enter the location address or the nearest address. You will be able to add more information in the ‘further information’ field (next screen)
