Every week in Australia, more than 400,000 people visit their local neighbourhood houses.

This Neighbourhood House Week (11–17 May), you're invited to discover what makes these local community spaces so special.

To help you explore your local community spaces, the 10 neighbourhood houses in Monash are running a Neighbourhood House Scavenger Hunt from 11 to 22 May.

How to take part in the Neighbourhood House Scavenger Hunt?

Start anywhere, follow your curiosity, and discover what makes each place special!

When is the scavenger hunt happening?

From Monday 11 to Friday 22 May 2026

Please check each neighbourhood house's opening hours on its website.

How do I collect the prizes?

Once you've explored the house and found the 2 answers on your scavenger hunt card, head inside and show a team member.

Each house will have its own small prizes, including magnets, stickers, badges, community lunch, op shop voucher, a free computer or English tutoring session, and a free “Try a Class” voucher!

If you visit all 10 neighbourhood houses, you can claim them all.
