Responding to a general query about theft from copper from sporting grounds in Monash and other councils.

Response

Underground copper cabling has recently been stolen from the sportsground lighting at Monash Council's Princess Highway Reserve on two occasions.

Our teams are working to reinstate the lighting for use by the Oakleigh District Football Club and the cabling has been better secured underground to reduce the risk of future theft.
