Next steps for Glen Waverley Civic Precinct project

Monash Council’s exciting Glen Waverley Civic Precinct is progressing into final design following recent community consultation on our detailed designs for the project.

In June and July we invited feedback on designs for the project, with community feedback focussing on the colour scheme, how people would like to see the new precinct used and activated, and car parking capacity. 

Our project architects are now reviewing this feedback and updating our designs where appropriate, with work on Glen Waverley’s new library, events spaces and outdoor areas expected to start in late 2026 following a construction tender process.
