MCH visit 4: 8 weeks old
All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag!

What happens at my 8-week visit?
At your 8-week visit, your family and MCH nurse will cover:
- A physical, growth and developmental check for your baby, including weighing.
- Feeding, safe sleeping recommendations, sleep area and immunisations.
- The PEDS-R questionnaire which looks at your baby's development, and what you need to fill out before your next appointment.
- How you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if needed.
- Where to find more information. Links below.
- Whether you had your 6-week post-natal check with your family doctor (GP) or obstetrician (OB).
Next visit: 4 months old.(
Please note there is no video recording or photography at MCH appointments.
