Australia Guqin Society 澳大利亚中国琴会

The Australia Guqin Society Incorporated (澳大利亚中国琴会) is a not-for-profit community organisation founded in Melbourne in 2017, dedicated to preserving and sharing the guqin (古琴) – the traditional Chinese 7-string zither, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Our members include guqin teachers, performers and enthusiasts from Glen Waverley and across Melbourne.

We hold regular guqin gatherings (雅集), concerts and cultural events such as the "Yarra Qin Yun" Guqin Concert and seasonal festival gatherings, and welcome anyone interested in listening to, learning or playing the guqin – no experience needed.
