Kawanua Se Dunia Australia Incorporated
Kawanua Se Dunia (KSD) Australia Incorporated (Reg no A0123618P Australian business number (ABN) 84 350 268 383) is a not-for-profit community network organisation of the Indonesian diaspora originating from Manado and Minahasa in North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia who live, work and study in Australia. KSD stands for "Kawanua Se Dunia" or "friends all over the world".
Our Purposes:
- To unite and develop the Kawanua community in Australia who are originated from Minahasa and North Sulawesi Indonesia.
- To facilitate the social, cultural, economic and trade promotion of Minahasa and North Sulawesi in Australia.
- To help improve the welfare of the Minahasan people who are still underdeveloped.
- To foster close relationships and harmony with the local government and communities as understanding the Australian values.
Programs:
- Coordination and gathering data and information of the kawanua diaspora organisations in Australia.
- Regular meetings in-person or online with fellow kawanua diaspora in Australia.
- Smart Village Program in Minahasa Sulawesi Utara Indonesia for "Desa Terbelakang" or "Desa Berkembang".
- Educational Assistance Fund for high school students categorised coming from "keluarga miskin" as part of the Smart Village Program above.
- Fundraising activities to support the above programs.
