Mount Waverley Reserve Pavilion

Project budget: The project budget included a $7m commitment from the Australian Government, $2m from the Victorian Government, $2.2m from Council and $100,000 each from the tenant clubs, AFL and Cricket Victoria.

The Mount Waverley Reserve Masterplan has been developed to increase opportunities for physical activity by upgrading and improving the provision of infrastructure for active recreation and play.

A program of works started in November 2023 and has included:

  • Sportsground redevelopment, flood lighting and perimeter pathway (completed June 2024)
  • Playspace upgrade (completed June 2024)
  • New cricket practice facilities and maintenance shed (completed May 2025)
  • Pavilion redevelopment (completed July 2025 and officially opened August 2025)
  • New public toilet (completed July 2025).

  • New carpark - construction started September 2025 (scheduled for completion March 2026)
