Central Reserve South Oval

We’ll be improving the south oval at Central Reserve in Glen Waverley.

This project is being delivered in partnership with the Victorian Government through the Community Sport and Recreation Projects program.

What we’ll be doing

The project will involve:

  • Complete reconstruction of the south oval, including drainage and irrigation.
  • Installation of 10 turf cricket wicket strips.
  • Replacement of the perimeter fencing with new chain mesh fencing.
  • Construction of a storage area for cricket wicket roller along the fence line of the oval.

Impacts for reserve users, local residents and visitors

The south oval at Central Reserve will be closed for approximately 12 months.
