The Waverley Film Society screens the classic mystery/drama movie The Maltese Falcon (1941) starring Humphery Bogart and Mary Astor.
The Maltese Falcon follows hard boiled San Francisco detective Sam Spade as he is drawn into a high stakes hunt for a jewel encrusted statuette, encountering deceit, double crosses and morally complex characters.
The Maltese Falcon is rated PG and is in B&W.
The Waverley Film Society meets at 7:40pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (except January).
