Brandon Park Pavilion

We are building a new modern, modular pavilion that will make better use of the reserve's space for players, teams, visitors and community members.

The pavilion development is supported by the Victorian Government's Community Sport and Recreation Projects program.

Project update: March 2026

The new Brandon Park pavilion building is now complete, and we are moving to the second stage of the project, which includes:

Demolition of old pavilion and car park construction

United Energy is scheduled to disconnect power from the old pavilion on 31 April 2026.

Once this is finished, we will start works to demolish the old pavilion and build a new car park in its place.

What we're doing

  • Fence off area: 1 April
  • Old pavilion demolition: 9–15 April
  • New car park construction: after demolition is complete. Expected to finish in July.

We will update these dates if they need to change.

Power upgrades

Works to upgrade the reserve’s power have started, and there will be minimal disruption for residents. You may see some vehicles and work activity at the reserve.

We will need to use a temporary generator to power the sportsground lighting until the reserve-wide power upgrades are complete.

This generator will be located away from residential boundaries, fenced for safety and clearly signed. It will only be used during the soccer season before 9pm on weeknights, with low noise levels.

Impacts during car park construction

Parking spaces next to the new modular pavilion will be unavailable. The site of the old pavilion will be fenced off as the car park is being constructed.

The southern car park will remain open for use.

There may be some days of higher activity. Please follow all on-site signage.

The pathway connecting the current pavilion and playground will be closed. Temporary pedestrian access and clear signage will ensure safe navigation for visitors and community members.
