Domestic Animal Management Plan

Monash is home to almost 12,000 dogs and more than 5,600 cats and our Domestic Animal Management Plan provides Council with strategic, achievable goals for animal management in Monash.

This includes general animal welfare topics, services and programs relating to animal management, compliance with the Domestic Animals Act 1994 and promotion of responsible pet ownership.

It is an important document both for Council's animal management team and for residents and pet owners who either live in or use Monash's resources with their pets.
