Age Well Leadership

Criteria

This award celebrates the experience, wisdom and generosity of older adults who continue to shape and strengthen our community.

Our aim is to recognise individuals who share their time, skills, and kindness with others and help make Monash a better place to live.

To be eligible for this award, nominees will:

  • Be at least 60 years old as of 13 July in the year of nomination
  • Live, work, or regularly take part in community activities in the City of Monash
  • Have a positive approach to ageing and encourage others to live well as they age
  • Make a difference in someone’s life or a community group through their actions
  • Be involved in volunteering that helps other people in the community.


This award aims to honour those who lead by example and show what it means to age well - by staying connected, giving back, and having a positive impact in the lives of others.
