Cypress Community Club - Waverley Lutheran Church

The Cypress Community Club is an initiative of the Glen Waverley Lutheran Church, a community of families, young adults and the young at heart. We are committed to living out our Gospel values by serving and making a difference in the community.

Whether you’re looking for affordable activities, support services, or a place to belong, we’ve got something for you.

Our Cypress Community Club offers a range of activities to welcome our neighbours as members of our local community. These are all held during the normal school year at 25 Cypress Avenue, Glen Waverley

Every Tuesday from 10 – 11.30am we welcome our community to our Coffee and Friends Group for morning tea and coffee and good conversation
On Thursday evenings, from 7.00 – 9.00pm we hold English Conversation classes for those who wish to improve formal and everyday English language skills. Small donations to cover basic costs for teachers and materials are welcome.
On Friday evenings we invite people to join us for social games of Table Tennis, on competition grade tables. You are welcome to bring your preferred bat
Our community activities also include community lunches and cross-cultural activities.

We maintain an ongoing relationship with the Monash Chorale, and every year invite our neighbourhood to enjoy their music, and gather for a great supper afterwards
