Celebrating Monash Residents Aged 100+
Monash Council believes reaching 100 years or more is an extraordinary milestone – one that deserves recognition and celebration.
If you are 100 years or older, or know someone who is, we invite you to register for:
- A congratulatory letter from the Mayor
- An invitation to Council's centenarian celebration held during the Monash Seniors Festival in October.
Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the Monash community, we would be delighted to celebrate your story.
About the celebration
Each October, as part of the Monash Seniors Festival, Monash Council hosts a special celebration for local centenarians.
The morning tea provides an opportunity to:
- Celebrate this significant achievement
- Connect with other centenarians and their families
- Reflect on a lifetime of experiences and memories.
Registered centenarians will be invited to attend with up to 2 guests.
The Age Well Team will contact registered participants closer to the event with further details.
Who can register
To participate, the centenarian must:
- Be aged 100 years or older
- Currently live in the City of Monash, or have lived in Monash within the past 12 months
- Consent to being nominated.
