The Waverley Film Society will screen the medieval fantasy movie Ladyhawke (1985). It stars Matthew Broderick, Michelle Pfieffer and Leon McKern.
The story is about a thief who becomes unwillingly involved with a warrior and his lady who are hunted by the Bishop of Aquila. As he learns about the couple's past and secret, he chooses to help them overcome the Bishop's forces, and to lift an infernal curse.
Ladyhawke (1985) is rated PG.
Waverley Film Society meets at 7.40pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (except January). Screening starts 7.40pm.
