The Waverley Film Society will screen the drama Now Voyager (1942), starring Bette Davis and Paul Henreid.
The story centres on Charlotte Vale, a spinster dominated by her mother. With help she breaks that psychological hold, becomes a glamorous woman, and heads off on a cruise where she encounters romance and love.
Now Voyager (1942) is rated PG and is shown in black and white.
Waverley Film Society meets at 7.40pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (except January). Screening starts 7.40pm.
