Mental health challenges can affect anyone.

Knowing how to recognise the signs and start a caring conversation can help someone get the support they need.

To recognise World Mental Health Day (10 October), we're hosting two free community conversations to learn more about common mental health challenges.

Learn how to build confidence to have supportive conversations, and discover practical ways to help friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.

Sessions will help participants to:

  • Recognise signs that someone may need support.

  • Develop confidence to start a caring conversation.

  • Explore practical ways to support someone while maintaining healthy boundaries.

  • Learn about appropriate support services and referral pathways.

  • Leave with simple, practical strategies they can use in everyday life.

Meet the facilitator
