Parking around the Civic Centre has changed

VMS board outside civic centre announcing library carpark closed

With site establishment underway for our $110 million Glen Waverley Civic Precinct project, there will be changes to parking around the Civic Centre.

The car park outside the existing Glen Waverley Library and Ibis Hotel building is now closed and will remain closed until the completion of construction in July 2028.

Our nearby Bogong Car Park has more than 1,000 parking spaces available and the capacity to absorb this parking loss.

Site establishment and preparation works are needed to safely establish the construction site and provide a secure separation between the public area and the work zone.

While these site establishment activities are underway, including the erection of site hoarding around the site boundary, there will also be temporary closure of the Kingsway footpath directly adjacent to the site boundary.

Temporary signage, barriers and traffic management controls will be in place to direct pedestrians safely around the work area.
