Council was invited to provide a comment to The Age about the Victorian Government's upcoming trial to prevent gambling harm. No specific questions were received.
This trial is a positive step and will provide people with greater control on how much they lose on pokies. Our preference is for mandatory and binding loss limits to be a feature of the trial and we have written to the Victorian Government's Department of Justice and Community Safety to outline this.
