Ladies Probus Club of Glen Waverley Inc. is a social group for ladies who wish to participate in a range of activities organised by the Club. We meet every fourth Wednesday of the month at Uniting Church of Glen Waverley. Following the meeting, a speaker will be engaged to give a talk on their subject of interest or working life. Members can sign up for a range of outings including day trips by bus to various areas in the state - some recent trips included going to Maldon via Castlemaine, a mystery tour 'around the bay in a day' via Geelong. The next trip will be to Bendigo for the Elvis exhibition. Other activities include a walking group, theatre outings, a visit to parliament house, on another occasion visiting the Chinese Museum. These events are advertised to members via a newsletter. The aim of a Probus group is to enjoy friendship, fellowship and fun.
