Monthly work party in Valley Conservation Reserve

Come and join the members of the Friends of Scotchmans Creek and Valley Reserve (FSCVR) in helping to look after Valley Conservation Reserve, every last Saturday of February to November 2026 (subject to public holidays and National Tree Day).

The work includes planting, weeding, maintenance and revegetation under the supervision of the City of Monash Horticultural Group. Come meet our dedicated bushcrew team member from the City of Monash.

Wear gardening clothes and a hat, bring gloves and a weeding tool if possible. You are welcome to bring your own kneeling pad and water to drink.

After we have finished working, we get together for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.

 

When

Location

The meeting place is the area behind the amenities block. Entry to the Reserve is via Waimarie Drive or Wills Avenue, Mt. Waverley - Melways Reference 70G2.
Please be at the meeting place at 1:20 pm. If you are late, there will be a map on the door showing where we are working that day.
