Join us for an interactive 60-minute community discussion exploring everyday legal rights, responsibilities, and practical resources to help you navigate common issues with confidence.

What to expect

Through practical examples and discussion, you'll gain greater clarity on common tenancy matters, such as when repairs are the responsibility of the tenant, the landlord, or both parties.

The session aims to increase awareness of the rights, protections, and options available to renters, empowering participants to make informed decisions.

While this is not a legal advice service, Monash University law students will provide educational information on important legal topics that affect everyday life.

Attendees will also receive information about useful legal resources, support services, and avenues for obtaining further assistance if required.
