Heat pumps at Monash Recreation and Aquatic Centre

With over 300 community buildings, Monash is improving energy performance through upgrades and renewals.

Measures include:

  • Electrifying gas appliances
  • Enhancing water efficiency
  • Phasing out refrigerants

Case Study: MARC Sustainability Upgrade

Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) has replaced 2 gas boilers with 3 heat pumps and 2 condensing gas boilers and is now powered by renewable energy.
