Monash Council immunisation services is providing free measles, mumps and rubella vaccines (MMR) in September 2026 to protect the community against preventable diseases.

Who can get a free measles vaccine?
You are eligible for a free MMR vaccine if you:
- are aged 20-59 AND
- don't have 2 doses of the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine.
Unsure if you're eligible? You can check your vaccination history in the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) through MyGov or your childhood vaccination records.

How to book your appointment
Monash Council uses Vitavo, an online booking system where you can book, cancel or change appointments.
How to book on Vitavo
If you have not used Vitavo before, you will need to create an account and enter your/your dependents ' details.
If you have used Vitavo before, log in and confirm your/your dependents' details
When you arrive on the "Select Immunisation" screen, tick "Measles-Mumps-Rubella": before progressing to the booking calendar.
In the booking calendar, select any community immunisation session in September 2026 (see below).
Booking for the family or a group? Please book separate appointments for each person. Your group will be seen together at the earliest appointment time.
What to bring to your session
For children, you do not need to bring an immunisation record book. Records are updated automatically.
During your visit
Please do not take photos or recordings during immunisation sessions.
We will check your booking on arrival.
After your vaccination, it is important to stay at the venue for 15 minutes for observation.
Once you 've made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with information about common side effects.
When NOT to attend
Please do not attend if your child has a temperature over 38.5°C. Please cancel and re-book.
We would prefer you to cancel and re-book if you or your child and/or any member of your family is unwell, has respiratory symptoms or has tested positive to COVID-19.
You can cancel your booking and rebook on your Vitavo account.
