Winter Series returns with an exciting lineup of live music and performances.

Responding to strong community demand, this year's series includes even more free and lowcost events right across Monash.

From string quartets reimagining pop classics to Celtic dance nights, French music soirées and vibrant West African rhythms, enjoy the depth and diversity of live music in Monash.

Welcoming and accessible, you’re invited to connect with fellow music lovers while celebrating creativity, community and the joy of local live music.

Invictus Quartet
Sunday 7 June 2026, 11am and 1pm
Clayton Community Centre – Theatrette

Invictus Quartet is a bold and energetic group of 4 young women blending classical string instruments with pop culture, playful storytelling and unexpected twists (yes, rap on violin).

Andrea Keller's Transients
Friday 19 June 2026, 7.30pm – 9.30pm
The Count’s, Monash University, Clayton Campus

Join ARIA‑winning composer, pianist and educator Andrea Keller for her acclaimed project Transients, a special live performance alongside trumpeter Niran Dasika and guitarist Theo Carbo.

Jarabi and Yuval Ashkar Trio

Glen Waverley Community Centre

Led by Guinean master musician Mohamed Camara, Jarabi delivers a powerful musical journey from the ancient Manding Empire of West Africa to contemporary Melbourne. Yuval Ashkar’s music is a testament to his multicultural heritage, blending influences from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Europe. His profound connection to Middle Eastern traditions is reflected in his soulful compositions and performances.
